Discord Times is an exciting medieval role-playing strategy game. As you'd expect, the situation is dire: feudal lords within the Ramen Kingdom are fighting over small parcels of land, tearing apart the populace and edging the realm toward civil war. Worse, conflicts with neighboring lands have drained the royal treasury. You choose to become a Knight, a Ranger or an Arch Magician, then set out to change history by gathering an army, defending the king and fighting off the traitors who have demolished your land.
Magic abounds in Discord Times as you use spells and artifacts to slay an assortment of enemies. Battles ignite the screen as you train your militia and then capture the strongholds of the enemy. And simple economic management comes into play as you gather the resources necessary to fund your campaign. Point-and-click controls make this easier than falling off a knight's horse, while superb visuals make the game as beautiful to behold as it is fun to play!

This game has soo much potential. It is such a great strategic game and it is unlike any other game i have played. You people should really consider releasing a second version of this or even releasing a map maker or something for it that would allow people to create their own scenarios. Seriously if you guys released another version or more maps i would be willing to buy it.

Thanks for the hints, Alexander. I'll certainly try being faster this time round - I did get side-tracked by all the little quests Viola suggested. I do love this game - in the other scenarios I was so proud of myself when I figured out what to do and where to go, and when I finally defeated all the bad guys. It's definitely a great game and, as you say, much too easy to spend all your time playing! :-)

Ruadhan, Trein's Issue is the hardest scenario - when I completed it for the first time I lost everyone in my army but my hero and it took me a lot to figure it out. I think the key is time - because once the dead armies escape from the gate there is no way to win, then you have to give up and restart from scratch. I found the place where Aterdux Entertainment is located (the guys who developed this game, Alawar is a distributor) - it's in Minsk, Belarus and soon I will be there so I will go and talk to them. I hope they can come up with something. The gameplay here is not that simple so I think to expect scenario editor is not realistic, but extra scenarios can easily be written... As for the extra Russian scenario, it's a lot of fun but it's a bit buggy in the beginning but still you can figure it out - there are some erroneous messages there. What makes it fun is also that you can hire there a vampire or a shadow. I always take a shadow and develop it into a ghost who has three actions. Later I give him a spell book and that makes his power about 55, 80 hits plus immunity to magic 90%. So he is practically indestructible :) In short, adding this one scenario should be simple, it's just a translation... I am slowly getting used to the idea not to play this game anymore - after going through every scenario 20+ (or more) times I know practically everything, even War in Ramen Kingdom I can walk through in 2-3 hours...
