Alexia has been having a recurring dream in which she sees several young women dressed in white gowns and carrying bags filled with gold running from a burning city. In the dream, the girls hide the treasure, but are then trapped and unable to escape. After doing some research, Alexia decides to travel to Cusco, the heart of the ancient Incan empire, to learn more.

When Alexia arrives, she has a vision of a girl named Micay. Micay tells Alexia the Sun God has chosen her to find the gold and free the souls of the Sun Virgins.
