I’ve not quite finished playing this game due to other excellent games, but it is still top of the list with respect to my favorite 3D arkanoids, although I’m sad to see no level packs have been released yet. It’s been nearly 10 months since the game was released. Will you be releasing any level packs for this game, or are you working on MB4? :D
I’d also like to repeat my request for a levels editor. …..PLEASE……:(
I’m sure this would boost this game, much as it has done for the 2D alternative from Reflexive, which I now notice you sell here as well…..Just imagine all the level sets that could be built by fans of this game, and opening up a fan site with access to all of these levels sets would put this game far ahead of it’s competitors. You could also do what Reflexive have done with their recently released fifth in the famous ‘Ricochet’ series; that is when you release Magic Ball 4?????, you could add an option within the game that directly links to the fan made levels as does ‘Ricochet Infinity’. The best (as I’m sure I’ve already said elsewhere) could win prizes, such as other games from your large selection, or maybe other computer related prizes such as sound and graphics cards (how about the latest $700 NVidia 8800 series that supports the latest DX10) ‘hehe’ (rubs hand together) :D :D :D The best of the fan made levels could then also be released as a levels pack for a nominal fee (just as Reflexive did with ‘Ricochet Lost Worlds Recharged’ that had at least 200 fan made levels and was brilliant.) :D
Other suggestions for Magic Ball 4 could include the ability to select what power ups you wish as well as the frequency. (Used judiciously, this could make the game user friendly for all types of games from 4 year olds up to the most experienced gamers around.
Also have hidden levels (that are not included in the levels count, that you gain access to by attaining certain targets, scores, or specific brick hits (sequences of)
Maybe even enable the game to be played in 2D ;)
Man, the list of possibilities is almost endless. What about going really retro, and adding the old space ship that occasionally runs across the playing filed. Scoring hits on this could give you other bonuses that are not available in the main game.
Mmmm, time for the kids to arrive home, so bye for now. :)
Stephen Brown aka WhiterabbitP.S.Thank you so much for a superb game. i only wish you'd show that you read these comments with some comeback...not only my comments but others. :)
