I'm stuck in the artists house with the hammer and green stone. Can't get the stuff off the horses head. Help!

This game is extremely frustrating with no helpful instructions. I would NOT recommend it to my friends.

I am also stuck in the art studio with a hammer and a green stone left. The Horse lights up and dk how to get the stone or the hammer to do anything. Likewise in the other two locations. What should I do?

Can't get the magnifying glass to burn straw.

I at the ship wreck in The Treasures of Mystery Island and can't get the magnifying glass to burn a hole in the straw. Please help. Thanks. This is a challenging/fun game.
