Like, I suspect a lot of others, level 1-10, at the last ninja, was driving me nuts. The problem is, you can't make a long, double jump, without hitting your head on the hanging rocks and then falling into the spike pit. What I found was: do a normal jump, then as you start to arch down, double tap the jump key to perform a double jump. I took me awhile, but it is doable. Luck :-)
